Each time I see an image of an Angel Stool, I fall in love yet again. This sculptural stool is designed by Gry Holmskov and gains its name through its poetic shape that reflects the shapes of an angel with its wings spread out. The divine shape and simplicity would look awesome in a contemporary space.
“Inspired by the annual rings of a tree,” Holmshov states “these minimalist stools are composed of a series of bent steel rods. Light and airy in form, the structure derives stability and support from the narrowest point of the stool where the rods contract.”
The Angel Stool are produced by and sold by Add Interior and also directly through Gry Holmskov’s website.
In Australia these can be purchased from Great Dane.
